Age requirements

To drive a rental car you need be over 18 years old and to have a valid drivers licence.
International age limitations vary between different countries

Can other person drive the rental vehicle

The rental contract is always signed with a primary driver.
Additional drivers are accepted in Finland, but this needs to be mentioned before the beginning of the rental.
Additional drivers must meet the minimum age requirements and present a valid drivers licence.
Additional driver charge is 15 € / person / rental.

Can I take the car abroad

Driving abroad is permitted in some of the european countries.
Cross border surcharge 50 € will be added to the rental price.
Please contact your local Budget office or Budget reservation central and check the limitations of driving abroad.

What documents will I need to provide

All drivers will need to be present and provide a valid drivers licence.
You will also need a valid international credit card in your own name to be presented. Visa Electron is not accepted.
Identification must be stated clearly and therefore you may need to provide further identification such as passport or id card as well.
Prepaid vouchers and discount coupons must be presented at the beginning of the rental.

What is included in the rental rates

All our normal rental rates are generally inclusive of:
Unlimited mileage. (exception: long term rentals with limited mileage)
Value added taxes 22%
Rental cars are always cleaned and maintained before rental.
Fuel tank in the car is always full when rental period starts.
Therefore we expect that the fuel tank is full when the car is returned.
If the car is not returned re-fuelled, we will charge the fuel
with the price stated in the rental agreement.
