Additional driver

Share the drive by adding an additional driver to your booking. Driving long distances can be stressful and tiring, so you might need to share the drive. Make sure to purchase the additional driver service since otherwise the renter is the only driver who is covered in case of an accident.

Please note that every driver must bring along their driving licence when the time comes to collect your hire car!

How much does an Additional driver costs?

In Finland, an additional driver costs EUR 5,06 per day per driver. This is capped at 10 days per rental. Additional driver is available at Budget locations in Finland and worldwide. Cost will vary by country so please check the cost at the time of the rental. 

How can I book an Additional Driver?

An additional driver can be added during the normal online booking process, just select the Additional Driver box which appears once you have selected your vehicle. You will also be asked at the rental station upon pick up whether you wish to purchase an additional driver. Other methods of booking an additional driver are via our reservation center.
